Tim Jester

Tim began playing violin at age 4. After hearing a performance by famed violinist Isaac Pearlman he asked his mother if he could play. Tim’s mother, thinking the idea would pass, said he could start lessons in six months if he still wanted to play. A month later Tim took his first lesson and he’s been playing ever since. Tim trained in the Suzuki method and played classically as a soloist and with orchestras and string ensembles through high school and college traveling extensively performing throughout the United States and Europe. While attending Southern University in Chattanooga, TN he began playing in rock bands. Since graduation, Tim has played electric violin in rock and country groups around the Southeast as well as playing with the classical string ensemble Forte Strings.
